I have a couple of Elektron boxes and Moog semi-modulars and I've always tried to use them all together. Somehow this ended up being creatively restrictive and subsequently a lot less fun. So I decided to go with a new focused approach using only 1 or 2 machines. This has really helped me appreciate my devices a lot more and also learn new tricks but more importantly, really enjoy them.
For this sketch I'm using purely the Analog Rytm for the music and giving it a bit of saturation and compression with the Analog Heat. Both such amazing devices. I love the versatility of the Rytm and the warm low end. The compressor has a great punch that brings to life the mix. The Heat just takes everything to the next level by adding even more analog warmth and boosting the higher end that sometimes can be lacking on the Rytm.
